Governors are looking to appoint a Catering Manager due to the promotion of the current post holder. We require a highly motivated manager with enthusiasm and new ideas for developing school lunches. Candidates must possess a relevant catering qualification and have detailed knowledge of food safety legislation, but training could be given to the right candidate.
Candidates must be self motivated and be able to lead a team. We are looking for someone who loves cooking and wants to produce high quality healthy meals, with the passion to give children a good range of food. They must be creative, flexible and have a commitment to school life. School is very fortunate to be having a new kitchen fitted with new appliances during the summer holidays. The successful candidate will be able to manage a budget, follow hygiene regulations, undertake regular appropriate training and produce lunches for school. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS clearance.
Initially the position is 25 hours a week term time only but there may be more hours at a later date.
