School Uniform

From September 2026 children will wear a Griffin Park school unform. We want the children to feel  as much a part of the school as the rest of the pupils and having the same unform will help them feel part of the Griffin Park family. One exception to the uniform is that we will allow children to wear trainers, preferably black. 

Outdoor Clothing 

Please bring a pair of wellies to leave in school. Children play out in all weathers and we provide our own waterproof clothing. We will send these home termly to check if they are still the correct size.

Library books

Library books are changed every Thursday. The library book is a book your child has chosen for you to enjoy together. Your child is not expected to read this on their own. Discuss the pictures, enjoy the story, predict what might happen next, use different voices for the characters, explore the facts in non-fiction books. The main thing is that you have fun and develop a love of books. 

PE

On PE days, children can wear black joggers, a white T-shirt and their school jumper. We will confirm the day we will do PE in the hall soon.
