Speech and Language needs are becoming a real barrier to success in school.  An HLTA will be working on individual programmes allocated to children from the Speech and Language therapy service.

TAs in classes support children using Speechlink and Languagelink programmes, where these assessments indicate a need.

In Reception class Wellcomm is used for children identified with a communication need and this is delivered by an HLTA.
