Ancient Egypt........ All about the jobs they had.
We worked in a team to make some presentations to teach others about a certain aspect of Ancient Egypt; here are a couple of them.
All about food and drink.
What an exciting day we had today with the author Rachel Lyon!
We learnt a lot about Rachel's inspiration for The Cautionary Tale of the Childe of Hale. We learnt the giant's name was John Middleton and he lived many many years ago. We now know Hale is a place near to Liverpool and you can go and visit John's house as it is open to the public; where you'll see the bedroom window that he had to stick his feet out of as he was too tall for his bed!
