Our Art curriculum aims to inspire and encourage our pupils' creativity, imagination and self-expression. The purpose of our Art curriculum is to provide pupils with the practical skills, concepts and knowledge necessary for them to express their own responses to ideas and experiences in a visual or tactile form. It enables children of all abilities to communicate what they see, feel and think through the use of colour, texture, form, pattern and different materials and processes. 

We want our children to leave Griffin Park with a passion for art and an understanding of how art and design both reflect and shape our history, and contribute to the culture, creativity and wealth of our nation and the world which they live.
