We had an amazing day and the children all looked amazing! We designed our own front covers, thought of a blurb to encourage people to read our book and then wrote our own stories to go inside.

Well done to the children who completed homework every week this term!

ARTS Week Day Five

We went and found leaves... And sticks from around school... In class, local artist Beverley Chapelhow.... Showed us how to create our dish... Inspired by Romans and nature prints... We did really well!

ARTS Week Day One

We found leaves on the playground... We created continuous line drawings using fine liners... We then picked a colour palette which we thought represented nature... We then did lots of colour mixing to recreate the colours... Finally we named the colours!

We had a visitor from Lancashire Cricket showing us some of the key skills!

Well done to our award winners this term! All the children have worked extremely hard and I'm really proud of them all.
