Learning Logs

The children are asked to complete their learning log on a weekly basis. The range of topics in their learning log have been taught that week and therefore it gives the children an opportunity to reflect on their learning. Children may use pictures, writing, photographs, labelled diagrams, pop up pictures, fold away flaps, to present their work. They can present their homework however they like! Homework will be given out on a Friday and returned by Thursday. If your child needs some help with their homework, we have homework club every day after school. 

Spellings

Each week, children will have 10 spellings to learn. The spelling test will take place on a Friday. Children should remember their spellings books on a Friday to receive their new weekly spellings. 

Reading

Reading for just 10 minutes every day can make a huge difference. Please sign your child's reading record on a regular basis. They should bring it to school every day.
