What's happening in Science?
Science Assembly October 2021
Our science assembly today was delivered by a fantastic team from the Bristol chemlabs CETL School of Chemistry- University of Bristol.
Below is just some of the wonderful feedback we received from the children;
We achieved the Science Quality Mark!
YEAR 6: Children carrying out their own experiments to prove that light travels in a straight line.
Year 3 - Parts of a plant!
Year One's Science experiment. We tested different materials to see if they were waterproof, unfortunately Bertie Bear and some of his friends got very wet!
Science Squad - Holiday Balloon rockets
What to do : Step 1 - Tie the string to a secure object.
Step 2 - Weave the string through the straw
Step 3- Blow the balloon up and tape it to the straw
Step 4 - Watch it go!
Minibeast hotel : we created a minibeast hotel for the bugs in our natural environment.
What does autumn feel like?
Odrija enjoyed feeling the leaves and listening to the sound they made when she stood on them. Look what happened when she threw them up in the air...
